Collections: Journal of Jewish Communal Service
BJPA is proud to host the entire run of the Journal of Jewish Communal Service (and its predecessors). Published by JPRO Network (formerly the Jewish Communal Service Association of North America), the journal's earliest issues date to 1902, when it was established by the National Conference of Jewish Charities. Over the years there have been name changes for both the Journal and its publisher, but they have always remained connected.
The Journal covers topics from all of the professional sectors of Jewish communal service. Although a particular issue may focus on a specialized field or challenge, such as vocational services or innovation, topics and specializations frequently change, making it a unifying and important knowledge source for all fields. Most articles are written by practitioners, faculty and researchers who are employed by the Jewish community or whose worked is related to the Jewish people.
