Adoption and After

By Isabel Romm

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), December 1976

The author discusses the experience of her agency, Louise Wise Services in New York, with post-adoptive programming, both for adoptive parents coping with family issues, and for adult adoptees seeking knowledge of their biological parents. The author explains that her agency initiated the programs in response to the needs of these two groups of clients, and developed a series of individual and group counseling programs. In Journal of Jewish Communal Service, ed. by Sanford Sherman, v.53, no.2, December 1976, p.185-191.
