Challenges to Social Planning in Federations

By Sanford Solender

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), September 1984

The author argues that good social planning must be viewed as closely related to successful Federation campaigning. He sees the two as related functions and the success of each inextricably connected to that of the other. For the social planning process to be effective, all decision-making affecting planning must be channeled through it. In Journal of Jewish Communal Service, v.61 no.1, Fall 1984.
