Peoplehood With Purpose

By Yosef I. Abramowitz

The International School for Jewish Peoplehood Studies at Beth Hatefutsoth, Fall 2008

The author argues that the Jewish community must set higher sights than most of the demographers, sociologists and community plans and philanthropists and become advocates for a new vision of Jewish peoplehood in the 21st century. He looks to the past as he briefly details the history of Jewish peoplehood, how the Jewish community arrived where it is today and how to reshape itself for the future.
