American Association for Jewish Education, Jewish Community Federation of the Greater East Bay, 1982

The Jewish Education Task Force of the Jewish Federation of the Greater East Bay held eleven meetings following a three-step process: Step 1 - exploring the current state of Jewish Education in the East Bay; Step 2 - exploring what could or should be in Jewish education on the elementary, high school and adult levels; Step 3 - exploring the role and the priorities of the Federation-Jewish Education Council to achieve what could or should be in Jewish Education. Extensive testimony was given and material studied from Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and community wide educators and institutions.
