An Enduring Professional and Personal Partnership

By Bracha Ben Zvi

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), Fall 2010

A deep and relevant professional partnership began in the 1970s when I met Al Miller, then CEO of F-E-G-S, and Gail Magaliff, then his second in command and now F-E-G-S' CEO, at a conference on rehabilitation held at Haifa University. They were speaking at the conference about F-E-G-S' work in the field of employment and rehabilitation. It was the first time at an international conference that I had met professionals other than from academia whose knowledge and experience were relevant to my work.
