American Jewish Demography: Inconsistencies that Challenge

This paper raises the major problems and needs of Jewish demographic studies in the United States. In particular by calling attention to some of the inconsistencies that characterize recent research and sometimes the conclusions of the same researcher at different times. The paper hopes to stimulate the efforts to achieve higher quality and greater standardization in community studies.
