Working with the United Nations

By Harriet Mandel

Josh Rolnick, The Sh'ma Institute, November 2011

The author discusses Israel's place in the United Nations and states that the Jewish communal test at the U.N. is to release ourselves from a mindset of isolation. As Israel is integrated into world affairs, we must overcome the insufficiencies of an imperfect organization, find commonalities, build friendships, and create bridges of understanding.
