Change the System?

By Leonard Fein

Americans for Peace Now, October 2006

The author discusses possibilities for reforming the political system of Israel. Considering how many feel that Israeli politics is broken, and the sullying of the image of both the IDF and the presidency, it is not surprise that some Israelis are desirous of full-scale reform. But Leonard Fein believes that the problem is not really the system, but rather that any system which is forced to deal with the peace process and the Palestinian conflict will inevitably have to deal with a lack of stability.
