CHIP (The UAHC Chai Investment Program)

For internal consumption, an interim report on the Chai Investment Program (CHIP) undertaken by the UAHC, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations (now the Union for Reform Judaism). CHIP aims to leverage the power of organizational investments for social gains by investing 1.8% of endowment and pension funds in community development agencies. This report suggests recruiting congregations, as well as individual congregants with retirement plans.
