Jewish Peoplehood: The Values of Collective Action

By Jerry Silverman

Center for Jewish Peoplehood Education, November 2012

Global human service programs connect the Jewish people throughout the world. None of the values expressed by these programs would exist without the notion of the Jewish Peoplehood and the belief that all Jews are responsible for other Jews. New thinking about Jewish Peoplehood from a global perspective is being fostered by Jewish Federations with the goal of animating new voices and dialogue.
