Hasmonean Primary School, London NW4 Inspection Report

By Geoffrey Shisler

The Board of Deputies of British Jews, 2008

Hasmonean Primary School has a population of Orthodox Jewish students. The school's main strengths lie in their strong Jewish ethos, clear commitment on the part of the school leadership, excellent standards for Hebrew reading, and the personal development of the pupils. The weaknesses include insufficient differentiation in the classes, little or no use of ICT, and a lack of standardization regarding lesson styles. The following report analyzes these strengths and weaknesses and provides recommendations for improvement.
