This pamphlet was originally produced to give information to employers and employees about the requirements of practicing Jews in the workplace. It has been revised to take account of various changes in the law relating to England, Scotland and Wales. We explain the nature of those requirements in the light of the changes in the law and offer advice as to how they can best be accommodated by all involved parties. The level of religious observance varies amongst Jews of different affiliations and the requirements of Jewish employees differ. In this pamphlet we deal principally with observant Jews whose requirements are greater.
