A Guide for Parents and Careers of Jewish Children with Special Educational Needs

The Board of Deputies of British Jews, 2005

The following guide has been developed with the objective of drawing together information which will help parents of Jewish children with special needs. The booklet specifically seeks to advise parents about where to obtain general and Jewish support and assistance throughout their child's life. Concentrating primarily on the ages between birth and 16 years, the booklet also provides signposts to organizations that help with older age groups. The contacts listed are intended to provide a gateway to children who might otherwise be excluded from the Jewish community.
