What, Then, Shall We Do

By Leonard Fein

Moment Magazine, April 1983

Fein explores the issues surrounding conflict in Israel. A ghettoized mentality, continuing Arab-Israeli conflict, and divisions within the Jewish community are all suggested explanations for Israel's instability. Fein provides a critique for all of these explanations and concludes that for Israel to be truly independent, they must actively take hold of future opportunities instead of focusing too much on past mistakes.
