Searching for the Next Herzl

On the centennial of the death of Theodore Herzl, it is impossible to imagine who might take up his mantle in the modern world. In the most unlikely event that a "hero" should present himself and seek to grab hold of history as Herzl did, he would be dismissed as suffering from grandiosity. One cannot imagine the message that could penetrate the cynicism of the modern world. Then again, before Herzl, who imagined Herzl?
