Let the Bands March Into Baghdad

By Leonard Fein

Forward Association, 2007

The Defense Department employs 8,000 musicians, a number that should not be a criticism, but rather a new Iraq battle plan. Perhaps a cacophony of brass and percussion could dislodge the terrorists and IEDs. A silly plan perhaps, but every plan Bush has hatched has been as bad, and more destructive and deadly than the one that preceded it. So why not send in the bands? Don't bother with the clowns, they're already here.
