Amusements and Diversions From a Relentless Swamp

By Leonard Fein

Forward Association, 2007

A new year provides a chance to wish good riddance to the tragedies and disasters of the old year, and look instead with amusement and diversion towards the new. First, amusement, with the claim by President Bush that he has read 87 books this calendar year, laughable, but perhaps Bush is to antipathetic to even justify humor. So then, diversion. Just type the word Jewish into a YouTube search bar, and there goes your schedule, and likely your blood pressure too.
