Which War To Tackle? '48 or '67?

By Leonard Fein

Forward Association, 2009

Some claim that the single-minded focus on the issues brought about by the 1967 war disguise that fact that there are still unresolved matters from 1948. Without dealing with the initial disconnect first, resolving the issues from 1967 will not bring real or lasting peace. The only solution that they feel resolves the issues from 1948 is a binational state - a naive conclusion, or one that is indifferent to the continued existence of a Jewish State.
