The Brothers Fein: Big Dreams and Baby Steps

By Leonard Fein

Forward Association, 2010

Peace between Israel and its neighbors is a grand mission, and that mission is very nearly a failure. 'Very nearly' is not however a complete failure, and baby steps towards peace - treaties with Egypt and Jordan, popular movements for peace and democratic co-existence - are the only steps the region can take. The challenge writ large is too big to tackle, so perhaps step-by-step, incrementally, there is still hope of building towards peace.
