A World Where Jews Have No Safe Houses

By Leonard Fein

Forward Association, 2011

It used to be, to be Jewish meant to have safe houses all over the world. The solidarity of Judaism meant that wherever a Jew went, if he had trouble, he had a place to stay, a place to hide. No longer. Instead, demonization of the left, of peace-mongers, of secularists slowly rends Israel and the Jewish people apart. Safe houses? Be careful. Try not to need them, there doors may not be open any longer.
