The Wake-Up Call

By Leonard Fein

Forward Association, 1994

A community that permits the kind of verbal violence that has characterized the Jewish community over the years, especially as regards Israel's peace policies, must take responsibility for having encouraged this more sinister form of violence. It is simply too easy, too cheap, to denounce the felony of physical violence. All ought to demand a halt to the ongoing misdemeanor of verbal violence.
