In a letter to Louis Marshall, President of the American Jewish Committee, Henry Ford disavows prior knowledge of the antisemitic treatise "The International Jew" published under his name by his newspaper, the Dearborn Independent, and apologizes for them. He promises that the Independent will henceforth be free of antisemitism. Marshall provides commentary and publishes his reply.
