Extremism as a Religious Norm

This study is an effort to understand the apparent growth of 'religious extremism'. My focus is on Judaism in Israel. My assumption is that the rise of religious extremism is not limited to Judaism in Israel, therefore the explanation offered cannot be peculiar to that religion or that country.
