Journey Spring 2001: Feminist Commitments

Ma'yan, Spring 2001

This issue of Journey focuses on covenantal relationships between people within the Jewish community. The first section explores ways in which Jewish feminists are reexamining what covenantal partnership means in our own lives. The second section explores the challenges of women's relationships with the organized Jewish community, a relationship that often feels covenantal, if also continually challenging and not necessarily mutual. Journey is published by Ma’yan, an organization working for change in the Jewish community in order to create an environment more inclusive of and responsive to women and girls.
