Strictly Business -- Strictly JVS

By Abby Snay, Wendy Verba

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), Summer 2007

The authors describe Strictly Business, a fundraising event created by the San Francisco Jewish Vocational Service, which has since been adopted by JVS agencies in four other communities. This luncheon event honors men and women who share their success stories of how they have turned their lives around with the help of JVS services. It builds credibility and visibility for JVS among the business community and serves as an important recruitment vehicle for JVS volunteers, the authors explain.
