This article presents in brief a miscellaneous sample of happenings in Jewish communities around the world. These include: a report on revised salary recommendations for graduates of accredited social work programs; a brief review of the "increasingly broad and many faceted concerns of Jewish federations;" a discussion of the need for more scholarships for social work programs; and a review of the trend of services provided over the 1950s in the areas of family service, child care, Jewish homes for the aged, and Jewish hospitals.
