The authors examine the funding, affordability and long-term viability of Jewish day school education, basing their conclusions on briefing papers by day school experts and consultations with principals, directors of central agencies for Jewish education, and federation planners, executive directors and presidents. The authors also make recommendations for Jewish federations in order to strengthen and promote day school education.
