By Tom W. Smith, Sid Groeneman

Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), November 2009

This major new study released by The Jewish Federations of North America examines how geographic mobility affects the Jewish community. The findings put forth in the study demonstrate that mobility has a negative affect on the communal system. Overall, it is associated with low levels of communal engagement. The authors discuss the implications of their findings and offer recommendations for communal strategy and policy.
