Understanding the Christian Right

By John C. Green

American Jewish Committee (AJC), 1996

The author analyzes the Christian Right, a movement of conservative Christians active in politics, and how they affect both the Jewish and greater global community. In this extensive analysis, he discusses the history of the Christian Right in relation to interest groups and presidential politics. Furthermore, he explores the hostility of the Christian Right toward the Jewish community, while noting that it does have some positive views toward Jews, as demonstrated in their public support of Israel.
