The Evolving Muslim Community in America

The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of 9/11 on the American Muslim community in conjunction with issues of concern for the Jewish community. In order to reach a conclusion, the author examines the history, demographics, and community life of American Muslims before 9/11, Muslim reactions to the tragedy, and major issues that show how the priorities and perspectives of the Muslim community have been shaped by 9/11.
