Non-Jewish Staff in Jewish Family and Children's Agencies

By Sandra Orenstein, Felice Davidson Perlmutter

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), March 1975

The authors report the results of a recent survey concerning the attitudes of agency staff towards non-Jewish staff members of Jewish family service and child care agencies. While further study is called for, the authors report that 50% of staff surveyed felt it is important that all staff at Jewish agencies be Jewish in order to be able to provide clients with Jewish content.
