By Itamar Yahalom

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), National Conference of Jewish Communal Service, Spring 1964

This project represents an attempt to treat and study a small group of schizophrenic children and their parents. Its purpose is essentially to demonstrate a therapeutic approach toward these children and their parents which focuses onproblems of communication. The therapist's relevant inner reactions are explored to give meaning to his "objective" observations and to throw light on the process of emotional communication.
