The Morning After: Sustaining Social Change

By Leonard Fein

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), October 2006

More than kindness, the author analyzes the urgency of justice, such as in reforming healthcare. He describes his efforts to not only spread the gospel of social justice, but also to breathe life into that gospel. He concludes that although some will continue to specialize in g'milut chesed, acts of loving kindness, some are also critically beginning to make a difference in the world of public policy.
