Book Review: Ask the Ethicist

By Erica Brown

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), December 2003

Brown recommends recent books on Jewish ethics, suggesting reasons for their abundance and considering the question of whether they actually change the reader, rather than just engaging them intellectually. She suggests that Ochs's ten sensibilities, described in this issue of Sh'ma, is a perhaps more compelling medium to frame Jewish ethics.
