Why Zionism

By Allon Gal

CLAL: the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, April 26, 1996

Allon Gal argues for a renewed type of Zionism that whould enhance Jewish and general humanistic and democratic values, and at its best it would Judaize American Jewry and Westernize Israeli Jewish nationalism. Gal states that this post-classic Zionism will bridge the gap between the American and Israeli Jewish communities.
